Bedtime Stories Children Love To Hear Again And Again
We all remember growing up with our favorite story. Although our parents almost surely got tired of reading them we just could not get enough. It didn’t really matter that it always ended the same, perhaps the consistency was even what made it so magical to us. There are some bedtime stories that will just never get old. These are the stories we will pass down to our children and hopefully they will pass down to theirs. They teach life lessons and help us grow into adults.
Perhaps these stories are influential because they are what we hope to become. We love hearing about the main character, usually a strapping hero who sets out to save someone from the very clutches of evil. We all want to grow up to be that person; we all want to be that hero. Maybe the bedtime story we are so fixated on is the story of finding out who you truly are, how we try to do what everyone else does until we realize that there is something different for us. Something different but good in its own way. Maybe the truth is children like hearing the stories again and again because we like reading them again and again.
